Being thankful for the harvest

I see each day of my life as the harvest from seeds I planted in the past. I can choose to find something to be thankful for at each stage.

This, for me, brings peace, goodwill, acceptance of life and those who share this amazing Earth with me.

I see a garden as giving wonderful insights for our lives. Seeds are planted, sprout, and grow strongly, then form a harvest.

As can also be seen in our lives. So I give thanks for the stages of growth and change throughout my life.

We are all undertaking a hero’s journey that we call life,
Each of us, travelling this journey, now:

Thank you for all of YOUR contributions to our journey.

To you and you and you, and everyone sharing this journey of life

It is a rich journey, with much to see and explore along the way. So many experiences available!

It is made even richer by all that YOU have offered into the stream of life – simply by living your life as you have.

Thank you for being YOU – just as you are.

Thank you for not being ‘someone else’ [even if, sometimes it seems that being just ‘You’ is ‘not enough’ and ‘should’ be better/different. Being ‘just you’ is totally enough – and more than enough!]

Thank you for being the unique ‘YOU’!

May you also enjoy a wonderful harvest from the ‘seeds’ you planted in the past. Each ‘seed’ offers so many opportunities for grateful thanksgiving as it grows, flowers and provides a harvest of some type.

What is available to you?

And may the ‘seeds’ you plant now produce a wonderful harvest over and over again into the future.

I think its so well expressed by Ralph Waldo Emerson on Thanksgiving

For each new morning with its light, for rest and shelter of the night, for health and food, for love and friends, for everything thy goodness sends.

May you journey joyously into a wonderful, fruitful future.
